"The last time I was here, it was 2 shop lots. Now it is just 1. Food quality is still great. I ordered a banana leaf set for lunch. My friend ordered just 2 roti kosong but it took very long to arrive. The teh Tarik was really good! Highly recommend. Rasam was substandard. Others were all okay. "My 2nd visit after 8 years and the food still tasted good. I remember during my first trip, I've ordered the chicken malai tikka, and it was scrumptiously awesome! This time I've ordered the chicken tikka with Laccha Pratha. Both were great. The masala tea tasted ordinary. And the widd (house) thosai was crunchy and quite palatable."

"1. This is one of few branches throughout JB and located at a prominent business district in the City. 2. In my opinion, though you can get food all the time, the best time to come is around 10.30am and you get to enjoy both breakfast menus (ending at 11.00am) or just tuck in the lunch menu which is fresh and steaming. 3. Besides indian food, you can also buy snacks, indian sweets and pickles which are common side-dish in every indian home. 4. The best thing about these restaurants is that they serve the food on a banana leaf which adds additional homely touch with a special taste because you taste it directly from the fingers that feeds the food to your mouth since you eat with your hands. 5. If you're neither a Non-Hindu or a Muslim and you've been eating a banana leaf meal with a fork and spoon all this while, try using your hands the next time around and you will know what I mean."

"I am very confused on the low rating that this place been receiving. For me it is a beautiful and cozy place to enjoy some authentic indian food over here at mount austin. The staff is really friendly and they even check out on me whether I am fine with the food (as i am Chinese). Tried their masala chicken with nasi briyani, garlic naan and the legendary nescafe panas kurang manis! So envy of those guy staying nearby definitely will return again when i am in town"
